Bev Kelley FCA

Bev

Bev is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in accountancy practice. She qualified and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) in October 1995. Having gained a great depth of experience with our predecessor firm, working very closely with small businesses and their owners, she built many long-standing relationships, which continue today. Bev enjoys getting to know the people behind our client businesses and their motivations and styles, to be able to advise from each business owner’s perspective.

She is the firm’s Senior Statutory Auditor and particularly adept at dealing with HMRC enquiries.

She is also a qualified dance teach and has enjoyed being involved with her girls’ dancing competitions and exam’s as they are growing up!

Stephen Lowe ACA FCCA

Stephen

Stephen qualified with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1999 and was admitted as an ACCA member in 2000. He has gained huge experience with four Kent practices specialising with the accounting and tax affairs of small and medium sized businesses for more years than he would care to admit, joining Bev in December 2006.

Away from the office, he can be found walking or cycling the Kent countryside or enjoying a game of rugby – from the sidelines. Other interests include travel, theatre and classic cars.

Gemma Lane FCCA

Gemma

Gemma qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in June 2005 and joined Kelley & Lowe in September 2007. She assists with all aspects of accounts production, audit and taxation assignments and as a working mum, is out of the office on Wednesdays.

Philip Knight ACCA

Philip joined Kelley & Lowe in November 2016 as a trainee accountant and has recently qualified with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, winning a prize for one of his papers. Philip is involved in accounts production, tax, company secretarial matters and particularly enjoys assisting clients with their bookkeeping queries.

Outside of work Philip is a keen musician with a master’s degree in classical music, he regularly performs with the Bromley Symphony Orchestra.

Ben Sparkes

Ben

Ben joined us in July 2007 as a “Junior Trainee Accountant”. He qualified AAT “Accounting Technician” in 2014. He assists in many areas of the practice including accounts production, tax, management accounts and payroll. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Ben.

Suzanne Berwick

Suzanne

Suzanne has almost 35 years bookkeeping and payroll exerience, joining the firm in January 2000. She carries out our in-house bookkeeping, payroll and VAT functions, as well as those of many of our clients. Suzanne enjoys travel, theatre and a variety of sports.
